2017 Student Support Grant Application

Thank you for your interest in PCACAC's Student Support Grant (SSG) Program!

PCACAC members may apply for a Student Support Grant for their own student projects.  They may also wish to nominate a community member whose volunteer work nurtures college readiness.  Successful SSG applicants will propose events directly benefiting students, such as trips to college campuses, money for student college counseling or financial aid workshops, and college programs to host prospective student groups.  New and creative ideas are welcome!

The Student Support Grant is provided for programs that serve students. Student Support Grants may NOT be used to pay for professional development or speaker honoraria or to benefit an individual student.

Selection is based on the follow criteria:
• The program addresses an unmet need in the community.
• The program can lead to the targeted participants' increased involvement in the college process.
• The program reaches underserved populations.
• The program proposal gives detailed plans for the use of the grant.

Submissions must be received by March 1, 2017.

If you need assistance while completing the application, please contact Annie Hilten, PCACAC Executive Assistant, [email protected], 434-989-7557.
